Shabby Chic Girl’s Nursery Inspiration

Oh man.  I am having WAY too much fun planning and decorating a girl’s nursery!  I never thought in a million years I’d be one to go for pink and flowers, but here I am!

A few of the projects on this board have already been completed and I’m loving it so far!

I bought these curtains from Walmart for only $20 for the pair!  I’m sure at some point, I will need blackout curtains in here, but for now I love these!

My plan for the birdcage is to hang it in a corner.  I have been on the search for an actually old one, but if I can’t find one, I’ll get this beauty from Hobby Lobby.

Those little flowery knobs?  I made those!  More to come on those and what I did with them 🙂

I plan to do a little gallery wall over her crib with that You are Loved print that I found on Etsy, a mirror, and a plant or two in that galvanized pot from Hobby Lobby.

The sleeper sofa that is in there (seen here in Christian’s nursery) will stay since the nursery still acts as our guest room.  I plan to gather lots of lovely and feminine pillows and a throw to make it fit in.  I also have a crochet blanket in the works, because every one of my babies needs a handmade blanket 🙂

I plan to move this dresser in (after re-painting it) that used to be in my craft room and using it as the changing table and clothing storage under the existing shelves (that I will paint white and use as diaper station storage).

So, what do you think?  Still quite a few things to accomplish in here before July!  But, if you know my track record, I don’t tend to finish nurseries before the baby comes!
